So, when you consider purchasing from Acton Toyota you can be sure that our price is fair and competitive, we don't play pricing games, and you'll save time and money.
How negotiable are your pre-owned prices?
We recognize that you wish for a dealership's prices to be extremely attractive. Our live market pricing strategy helps to ensure our pricing is highly competitive and aggressive. However, if you believe our pricing is inconsistent with your research please bring that information with you upon your visit. Beyond the vehicle's selling price, what other costs are associated with a purchase at Acton Toyota?
Provided you are a Mass. resident and intend to register your vehicle in Massachusetts, you will pay 6.25% sales tax on the vehicle's selling price. Should you have a trade-in, you will be taxed on the difference after trade. For example, if the vehicle's selling price is $20,000 and your trade-in value is $5,000, you will pay $937.50 ($15,000 x 6.25%) in sales tax. Other costs include; Mass. Registry fees: $25 transfer plate fee or $50 new plate fee, $75 title fee, $29 state inspection sticker. Dealership Administrative fee: $290.
I am a New Hampshire resident. Will I have to Massachusetts sales tax if I purchase my car from you?
No, you will not be responsible for Mass sales tax should you be a New Hampshire resident. It will just require us to ensure you take delivery of your vehicle in New Hampshire. What is the dealership's administrative fee and why is it there?
Acton Toyota's administrative fee, $290, addresses service costs sustained by our dealership that are different than those paid to the manufacturer to obtain the vehicles. The administrative fee is relate to costs associated with compliance for Federal and Massachusetts State laws that grant safety, consumer protection, anti-theft measures, vehicle history checks, notifications, certifications and other official filings.
If I didn't purchase my vehicle at your dealership will I be treated any different than someone who did when I visit for Service?
