Should you have a trade-in, you will be taxed on the difference after trade. For example, if the vehicle's selling price is $20,000 and your trade-in value is $5,000, you will pay $937.50 ($15,000 x 6.25%) in sales tax. Other costs include; Mass. Registry fees: $25 transfer plate fee or $50 new plate fee, $75 title fee, $35 state inspection sticker. Dealership Administrative fee: $495.

A: No, you will not be responsible for Mass sales tax should you be a New Hampshire resident. It will just require us to ensure you take delivery of your vehicle in New Hampshire.
